The Learning Experience, a national daycare franchise ranked among the top franchises in Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500®, including No. 1 in the childcare category, has expanded in Brownsburg.
The new location at 7154 Northfield Dr. opened in September. It offers enrichment programs and early childhood education for infants through kindergartners.

The center utilizes the L.E.A.P.® (Learning Experience Academic Program) Curriculum, which incorporates fun, hands-on activities throughout early education to help children develop intellectually, socially, and cognitively. In other words, it’s designed for children to learn, play, and grow.

The new location is a 10,000-square-foot building with 5,000-square-foot playgrounds. According to a news release from The Learning Experience, or TLE, new locations typically cost about $3.2 million to $3.5 million to build. TLE said the center employs up to 30 staff and certified teachers to serve upwards of 180 children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.

When identifying potential markets and sites for expansion, The Learning Experience analyzes factors that include the surrounding area’s daytime population, traffic patterns, the population of children ages six and under in 1-, 3—and 5-mile radiuses, and average household incomes within those areas.
The Brownsburg site is franchise-owned.
TLE has over 600 locations in 34 states and the UK, with 16 in Indiana. Brownsburg is TLE’s first Hendricks County location.
