The Splash Pad at Williams Park is a community favorite during the hot summer months! With opening day coming up on May 23, here are the top 7 things you should know before visiting.
1. Hours of Operation: The Splash Pad is open daily from May 23 through September 7 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the exception of Tuesdays when there is scheduled maintenance until 3:30 p.m. each week. The facility may close for weather concerns, maintenance, or chemical adjustments at any time, and temperatures must be at least 72° for the splash pad to operate.

2. No Food and Drink: We encourage families to stay fueled and hydrated while visiting, but no food or beverages are allowed on the splash pad. This helps us keep our facilities clean and functioning!
Staying hydrated is easy with our water bottle filler, provided by a generous grant from the Hendricks County Recycling District. The station is located on the outside of the restroom facility.
3. Supervision Required: For the safety of all visitors, please supervise your children to ensure there is no rough housing, profanity use, or running on the splash pad. None of the features are designed for climbing, so please do not allow your children to climb on the equipment.

4. Leave the Toys at Home: Inflatables, pool toys, scooters, bikes, skates, and skateboards are not allowed on the splash pad. Additionally, no dogs or other furry friends are allowed on the splash pad at any time. Don’t worry – the splash pad has all the fun you need with three play areas and a variety of interactive features! Please note, the splash pad operates on a cycle. Not all play features will be on at the same time.

5. Dress to Impress: Bathing suits and swim diapers are required. There are bathrooms located next to the splash pad to change out of wet clothes afterward!

6. Shower Before you Play: The shower at the splash pad is intended for visitors to use before entering to rinse anything off that would interact with the sanitation chemical, and after to rinse the treated pool water from bath suits and skin. Please do not use soap when using the outdoor shower.
7. Spot a Problem? If the splash pad features are not working, please call (317) 858-4172 and leave a voicemail describing the issue. For emergencies, call 911.
