On Thursday, October 23, the Brownsburg Town Council proudly issued a proclamation recognizing Veterans Day. Representatives from the Brownsburg American Legion Post #331 attended the presentation, receiving the proclamation on behalf of all who have served. The Town Council invites residents to join in honoring our veterans and expressing deep gratitude for their service, sacrifice, and steadfast devotion to our country.
Full text of the proclamation is available below:
Whereas, November 11 of each year, our nation honors the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces, recognizing their dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms and liberties we hold dear; and
Whereas, Veterans Day serves as an opportunity for our community to express heartfelt gratitude to all veterans — those who have served in times of war and peace, and those who have given selflessly to ensure the safety of our nation; and
Whereas, the Town of Brownsburg is proud to host its inaugural Field of Honor from November 8–11, honoring veterans from every branch of the military with a display of 250 flags on the Town Hall Green; and
Whereas, the Town of Brownsburg appreciates the enduring spirit that local organizations, such as American Legion Post 331, have instilled in our community; and
Whereas, it is with the utmost reverence and respect that the Town of Brownsburg acknowledges the courage, sacrifice, honor, and achievements of our nation’s veterans.
Now, therefore, I, Travis Tschaenn, Town Council President of the Town of Brownsburg, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, November 11, 2025 as:
VETERAN’S DAY
in the Town of Brownsburg, and urge all residents to join in heartfelt appreciation, reverence, and celebration of our Veterans, expressing profound gratitude for their service, sacrifice, and steadfast devotion to duty.
