The Town of Brownsburg is excited to announce that Elijah Leeper is the Jr. Grand Marshal for the 2025 Christmas Under the Stars parade! During the event, Eli will lead the parade from the Brownsburg Fire Territory firetruck and flip the switch for the Tree Lighting ceremony at Town Hall Green.
Every season, Elijah is full of Christmas cheer. His family shares that he’s embodied the spirit of the holidays ever since he was little. Spreading that magic brings a smile to others, and he does not fail to put them in a good mood.
This year, Christmas has a different meaning for him. After losing his father last year, he’s spending this season carrying on his memory. He’s been adding items to their tree that his father liked, and decorations that remind them of him. Its little things like this that has made a big difference for his family this season.
Elijah’s caring attitude is a big part of who he is. Whether he’s playing with Hendricks Community Soccer, singing in the school’s choir, or volunteering at Riley’s Pediatric Intensive Care Walkathon every year, he’s always lending a helping hand. His family says he loves feeling like he’s made a difference in someone’s life.
Please join us in celebrating Elijah’s giving heart for the community at the parade and tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 6. The parade begins at 6 pm, travelling down East Main St., and turning onto North Green St. The tree lighting ceremony will follow after the parade’s conclusion on the Town Hall Green.
