Outdoor Patio Eats at Alley’s Alehouse

Enjoy dinner or cocktails with a side of summer vibes at Alley’s Alehouse‘s outdoor patio. Featuring fire pits, cozy sectional sofas, and live music under string lights, it’s the perfect setting to unwind with friends. The spacious, screened-in patio and grassy beer garden offer plenty of room to kick back and relax.
Cool Down at the Splash Pad at Williams Park

Beat the heat at the Williams Park Splash Pad (940 Locust Ln.), where kids can play among 30+ interactive spray features across 3,100 square feet. The zero-depth pad offers hours of fun while parents relax at shaded picnic tables nearby.
The splash pad is open daily through September 1 from 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. It is closed on Tuesdays through 3:30 p.m. for maintenance. The splash pad is free and open to the public.
Spend an Afternoon in Downtown Brownsburg

Explore the heart of Brownsburg with a casual stroll through downtown. Pop into local shops and boutiques, grab a coffee from Best Friends Coffee & Bagels, or discover unique gifts and clothing at Ella Mae’s Boutique. Head to one of Brownsburg’s most beloved parks, Arbuckle Acres Park (200 N. Green St.) for a peaceful sunset. Bring a blanket, enjoy a picnic, or take a walk across the historic iron truss bridge. It’s the perfect low-key way to end a summer day.
Shop Fresh and Local Goods at the Brownsburg Farmers Market

The Brownsburg Farmers Market, presented by IU Health West Hospital, is a must-visit every Thursday from 4–7 p.m. through August 28 at Town Hall Green (61 N. Green St.). Browse fresh local produce, homemade goods, and handcrafted treasures while enjoying live music and special-themed nights.

Take a Bike Ride Along the B&O Trail

Stretching 8.2 miles through the scenic countryside of Hendricks County, the B&O Trail is perfect for biking, walking, and enjoying nature. Accessible trailheads can be found at Green St., Cardinal Park, and Virgil Park.
Later this summer, the B&O Trail Association will complete construction to extend the trail west from High School Road in Speedway by another 3.15 miles. This expansion will create 16 miles of continuous trail, stretching from downtown Indianapolis to 4.2 miles west of Brownsburg, significantly broadening the outdoor experiences available to residents and visitors.

Try an Outdoor Fitness Class
The Pathfinders Walking Club, sponsored by Brownsburg Meadows, meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at Williams Park. Active adults are invited to lace up their sneakers and join us for a refreshing walk along the scenic, paved trail. Each session begins with a brief warm-up led by our fitness trainer to help you get moving safely.
Looking to get more active? Try S.L.A.M. (Sweat Like a Mother), a comprehensive exercise program for women in all stages of motherhood. At S.L.A.M., each class is designed to get you moving, get you sweaty, and ensure that you have fun while working out. Classes are all 60 minutes long, meet at Williams Park, and offer a variety of movements and sequences that accommodate all levels of fitness.
It’s a fun way to stay active while enjoying fresh air and sunshine. (Perfect for early mornings before it gets too hot!)

Indianapolis Raceway Park (10267 US Hwy 136) is your go-to for adrenaline-pumping summer entertainment. Catch thrilling drag races and NASCAR events, or even try your own hand on the track. It’s a high-octane experience you won’t want to miss!
Enjoy an Outdoor Movie Night

Enjoy outdoor movies with the Movies in the Park series, presented by Centier Bank. On June 27, view Moana at Arbuckle Acres Park. Visit the park at 6 p.m. for a special singing session by Mr. Daniel Sings. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. Free popcorn will be available! On July 25, enjoy a throwback movie and watch E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial beginning at 7 p.m. On August 29, enjoy Kung Fu Panda 4 at 7 p.m. Enjoy a free outdoor movie experience with popcorn, trivia, and family-friendly entertainment!
