Wawa Opens First Brownsburg Location

The Town of Brownsburg is excited to welcome Wawa to our community with the opening of its first local store on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 60 E. Garner Road.

A crowd gathered outside the new Wawa store in Brownsburg for the grand opening ceremony, featuring a mascot and representatives holding a ribbon for cutting.

This Brownsburg location is the fifth Wawa store to open in Indiana as part of the company’s statewide expansion. A second Brownsburg location is also planned for 2026, making our community one of only a handful in the state with multiple stores. By the end of 2025, Wawa projects to have eight Indiana stores open, with long-term plans for 60 locations statewide.

Each Wawa represents a significant investment in the community, with more than $7.5 million invested per store during construction and an average of 35 permanent jobs created once open.

We are proud that Brownsburg is part of this exciting growth, and we look forward to the positive economic and community impact Wawa will bring to our town.
