Hiring Fair in Brownsburg to Fill Hundreds of Local Job Openings

The Town of Brownsburg and Work One are collaborating to organize the Brownsburg Hiring Fair on March 7 at Connection Pointe. The fair will help businesses fill nearly 200 job vacancies in education, logistics, construction, non-profit, and government industries. The hiring fair aims to boost the local economy by facilitating job placements and fostering a more connected community.

“We’re always looking at new ways to support our business community,” said Economic Development Director Ethan Pierce. “This opportunity connects our community’s talented workers with great employers looking to hire. In line with our goal to introduce job training opportunities to transform our community, this job fair is a great way to connect face-to-face with employers, network, get industry exposure, and gain confidence.”

The job fair will be held on March 7, 2024, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Door 10 of the Connection Pointe Christian Church Chapel at 1800 N. Green St. in Brownsburg and is free for job seekers to attend. The event will feature local employers actively hiring for various job vacancies. A complete list of participating employers can be found at https://www.brownsburg.org/hiringfair.

Job seekers will get an opportunity to speak with prospective employers and gather employment information directly from representatives for a wide range of roles, from entry-level to management positions. Attendees should dress professionally and bring copies of their current resumes. Additionally, participants can take advantage of free headshot photos offered by Lacy Clagg Photography.

“Job creation is a top priority for Brownsburg,” said Town Council President Travis Tschaenn. “We’re grateful for Work One’s partnership and employer participation. We hope everyone will take full advantage of the hiring fair.”

Employers can register online at https://laserfiche.brownsburg.org/Forms/HiringFair for a booth at $30.
