As the community recovers from an intense storm that left much damage in its wake, the Town of Brownsburg will waive specific fees for cleanup and reconstruction related to the severe tornado that tore through the town on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
The Brownsburg Town Council voted unanimously at its Thursday, April 10 meeting to waive specific permit, fire, and building review fees for redevelopment projects related to the storm until April 10, 2026. To receive the waiver, property owners must prove the losses stemmed from the storm.
Between 30 and 40 homes and 15 to 20 businesses sustained damage from the tornado.
