Choose from our various guided hikes within our parks

Our Parks Department offers multiple opportunities to immerse yourself in educational and peaceful hikes. During the Morning Bird Hike, follow along with our Park Naturalist to observe various bird species. These hikes are free to join and are offered at various times during the fall.

Night person? Check out the Sense the Night Hike, where you can observe the beauty of the bright full moon in the night sky. This hike is on October 24 at 7:30 p.m.

As we know, Indiana never disappoints with the colorful fall foliage. Take in some of this beauty during the Fall Colors Hike on November 1 at 10 a.m. This is a guided hike on a paved trail, perfect for the whole family.

Pickleball: Serve up some fun!

Take advantage of the cooler weather and play some sets of pickleball with friends and family! Stephens Park, at 605 Stephen Dr., offers six free-to-use pickleball courts. Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced player, this is a great way to get some fresh air and friendly competition.

Go on a horseback ride at the Natural Valley Ranch

Enhance your fall experience while riding horses through the beautiful fall trails. The Natural Valley Ranch offers trail rides, riding lessons, and many more activities. Trail and Treat

Have a spooktacular time at Trail and Treat held at Williams Park on a paved trail. During Trail and Treat, many vendors will be handing out candy and other fun goodies to create a special “Trick-or-treating” experience for children! Trail and Treat is held on Saturday, October 25 from 5-7 p.m.
