Later this summer, the B&O Trail Association will complete an additional 3.15 miles of trail, extending west from High School Road in Speedway. Once this expansion is finished, there will be 16 continuous miles of trail stretching from downtown Indianapolis to 4.2 miles west of Brownsburg, significantly enhancing outdoor experiences for residents and visitors. In 2025, BOTA also plans to complete its trailheads at 500E west of Brownsburg and in Maplewood and add more trail miles in Maplewood.
